وَمَنْ لَّمْ يَسْتَطِعْ مِنْكُمْ طَوْلًا اَنْ يَّنْكِحَ الْمُحْصَنٰتِ الْمُؤْمِنٰتِ فَمِنْ مَّا مَلَكَتْ اَيْمَانُكُمْ مِّنْ فَتَيٰتِكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنٰتِ۰ۭ وَاللہُ اَعْلَمُ بِـاِيْمَانِكُمْ۰ۭ بَعْضُكُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْضٍ۰ۚ فَانْكِحُوْھُنَّ بِـاِذْنِ اَھْلِہِنَّ وَاٰتُوْھُنَّ اُجُوْرَھُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ مُحْصَنٰتٍ غَيْرَ مُسٰفِحٰتٍ وَّلَا مُتَّخِذٰتِ اَخْدَانٍ۰ۚ فَاِذَاۗ اُحْصِنَّ فَاِنْ اَتَيْنَ بِفَاحِشَۃٍ فَعَلَيْہِنَّ نِصْفُ مَا عَلَي الْمُحْصَنٰتِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ۰ۭ ذٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ الْعَنَتَ مِنْكُمْ۰ۭ وَاَنْ تَصْبِرُوْا خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ۰ۭ وَاللہُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ۲۵ۧ
Waman lam yastatiAA minkum tawlan an yankiha almuhsanati almuminati famin ma malakat aymanukum min fatayatikumu almuminati waAllahu aAAlamu bieemanikum baAAdukum min baAAdin fainkihoohunna biithni ahlihinna waatoohunna ojoorahunna bialmaAAroofi muhsanatin ghayra masafihatin wala muttakhithati akhdanin faitha ohsinna fain atayna bifahishatin faAAalayhinna nisfu ma AAala almuhsanati mina alAAathabi thalika liman khashiya alAAanata minkum waan tasbiroo khayrun lakum waAllahu ghafoorun raheemun
If one of you cannot afford to marry a believing gentlewoman (let him marry) a maid who is a believer. God is aware of your faith: The one of you is of the other; so marry them with the consent of their people, and give them an appropriate dowry. They are women (seeking) wedlock, and not lechery, nor secretly looking for paramours. But if they are married and guilty of adultery, inflict on them half the punishment (enjoined) for gentlewomen. This is for those who are afraid of doing wrong. In case they can wait, it is better for them. God is forgiving and kind.
