اِنَّ قَارُوْنَ كَانَ مِنْ قَوْمِ مُوْسٰي فَبَغٰى عَلَيْہِمْ۰۠ وَاٰتَيْنٰہُ مِنَ الْكُنُوْزِ مَاۗ اِنَّ مَفَاتِحَہٗ لَتَنُوْۗاُ بِالْعُصْبَۃِ اُولِي الْقُوَّۃِ۰ۤ اِذْ قَالَ لَہٗ قَوْمُہٗ لَا تَفْرَحْ اِنَّ اللہَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفَرِحِيْنَ۷۶
Inna qaroona kana min qawmi moosa fabagha AAalayhim waataynahu mina alkunoozi ma inna mafatihahu latanooo bialAAusbati olee alquwwati ith qala lahu qawmuhu la tafrah inna Allaha la yuhibbu alfariheena
Verily Qarun was of Moses' people, but he began to oppress them. We had given him treasures, so many that a team of wrestlers could hardly lift their keys. His people said to him: "Do not be exultant. God does not like those who exult.
