٢١ - ٱلْأَنْبِيَاء

21 - Al-Anbiya

فَمَنْ يَّعْمَلْ مِنَ الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَہُوَمُؤْمِنٌ فَلَا كُفْرَانَ لِسَعْيِہٖ۝۰ۚ وَاِنَّا لَہٗ كٰتِبُوْنَ۝۹۴
Faman yaAAmal mina alssalihati wahuwa muminun fala kufrana lisaAAyihi wainna lahu katiboona

English

Ahmed Ali

So he who does the right and is a believer, will not have his labour denied, for We are congnisant of it.

94

وَحَرٰمٌ عَلٰي قَرْيَۃٍ اَہْلَكْنٰہَاۗ اَنَّہُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُوْنَ۝۹۵
Waharamun AAala qaryatin ahlaknaha annahum la yarjiAAoona

English

Ahmed Ali

It is imperative that a habitation We have destroyed will not desist (from unbelief)

95

حَتّٰۗي اِذَا فُتِحَتْ يَاْجُوْجُ وَمَاْجُوْجُ وَہُمْ مِّنْ كُلِّ حَدَبٍ يَّنْسِلُوْنَ۝۹۶
Hatta itha futihat yajooju wamajooju wahum min kulli hadabin yansiloona

Until when the way is opened up for Gog and Magog and they press from every elevated place,

96

وَاقْتَرَبَ الْوَعْدُ الْحَقُّ فَاِذَا ہِىَ شَاخِصَۃٌ اَبْصَارُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا۝۰ۭ يٰوَيْلَنَا قَدْ كُنَّا فِيْ غَفْلَۃٍ مِّنْ ھٰذَا بَلْ كُنَّا ظٰلِمِيْنَ۝۹۷
Waiqtaraba alwaAAdu alhaqqu faitha hiya shakhisatun absaru allatheena kafaroo ya waylana qad kunna fee ghaflatin min hatha bal kunna thalimeena

Ahmed Ali

And the certain promise (of Doom) comes near. Then the eyes of unbelievers will be fixed in horror, (and they will cry:) "Ah, woe betide, we were indeed heedless of this, and were oppressors and unjust."

97

اِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللہِ حَصَبُ جَہَنَّمَ۝۰ۭ اَنْتُمْ لَہَا وٰرِدُوْنَ۝۹۸
Innakum wama taAAbudoona min dooni Allahi hasabu jahannama antum laha waridoona

English

Ahmed Ali

Verily you and those you worship other than God will be faggots for Hell; and come to it you will.

98

لَوْ كَانَ ہٰۗؤُلَاۗءِ اٰلِہَۃً مَّا وَرَدُوْہَا۝۰ۭ وَكُلٌّ فِيْہَا خٰلِدُوْنَ۝۹۹
Law kana haolai alihatan ma waradooha wakullun feeha khalidoona

English

Ahmed Ali

Had they really been gods they would not have entered it: They will all abide in it for ever.

99

لَہُمْ فِيْہَا زَفِيْرٌ وَّہُمْ فِيْہَا لَا يَسْمَعُوْنَ۝۱۰۰
Lahum feeha zafeerun wahum feeha la yasmaAAoona

English

Ahmed Ali

There will only be groaning for them, and they will not hear any thing.

100

اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ سَبَقَتْ لَہُمْ مِّنَّا الْحُسْنٰۗى۝۰ۙ اُولٰۗىِٕكَ عَنْہَا مُبْعَدُوْنَ۝۱۰۱ۙ
Inna allatheena sabaqat lahum minna alhusna olaika AAanha mubAAadoona

English

Ahmed Ali

But those for whom a good reward had been fore-ordained by Us, will be far removed from it,

101

لَا يَسْمَعُوْنَ حَسِيْسَہَا۝۰ۚ وَہُمْ فِيْ مَا اشْتَہَتْ اَنْفُسُہُمْ خٰلِدُوْنَ۝۱۰۲ۚ
La yasmaAAoona haseesaha wahum fee ma ishtahat anfusuhum khalidoona

English

Ahmed Ali

And will not hear its hissing, and will live for ever in the midst of what their hearts desire.

102

لَا يَحْزُنُہُمُ الْفَزَعُ الْاَكْبَرُ وَتَتَلَقّٰىہُمُ الْمَلٰۗىِٕكَۃُ۝۰ۭ ھٰذَا يَوْمُكُمُ الَّذِيْ كُنْتُمْ تُوْعَدُوْنَ۝۱۰۳
La yahzunuhumu alfazaAAu alakbaru watatalaqqahumu almalaikatu hatha yawmukumu allathee kuntum tooAAadoona

English

Ahmed Ali

They will have safety from the mighty terror, and angels will receive them, (saying:) "This is your day which had been promised you."
