Home and family are essential components of an Islamic social structure, and there are many masnoon duas that address this aspect. A home is declared a place of rest in the Islamic teachings, as mentioned in the 80th verse of Surah An-Nahl, "Allah has made your houses a repose." And what repose or rest means? 28th verse of Surah Ar-R’ad tells us, "Such are the ones who believe (in the message of the Prophet) and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah. Surely, in Allah's remembrance, do hearts find rest."
So, a home is a place where a Muslim finds rest, and rest is in the remembrance of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى. That defines the role of a home in Islamic theology. Translation - Your Lord said: "Pray to Me, and I will accept your prayers. Surely those who wax too proud to worship Me shall enter Hell, utterly abased."
Hadith, 1457 of Riyad as Salihin, speaks about the importance of Dua for protection from harm and evils.
Translation - 'Uthman bin 'Affan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who recites three times every morning and evening: 'Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'as-mihi shai'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i, wa Huwas-Sami'ul-'Alim (In the Name of Allah with Whose Name there is protection against every kind of harm in the earth or in the heaven, and He is the All-Hearing and All-Knowing),' nothing will harm him."

Islam has given much importance to the financial help of close relatives who might be in need. Hadith 1844 of Sunan Ibn Majah narrates the importance of helping close relatives:
Translation - Salman bin Amir Dabbi narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: "Charity given to the poor is charity, and that given to a relative is two things: charity and upholding the ties of kinship."
Hence, Islam relates financial help to the nearest relatives as a fundamental responsibility of all Muslims. Its immediate impact reflects on the well-being of the entire family. The Supplications and duas play a vital role in the achievement of this goal.

Translation - Abu Sa'id reported that Gabriel came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said: Muhammad, have you fallen ill? Thereupon he said: Yes. He (Gabriel) said: "In the name of Allah, I exorcise you from everything and safeguard you from every evil that may harm you and from the eye of a jealous one. Allah would cure you, and I invoke the name of Allah for you."

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ often used to make dua for his grandsons, Hassan and Husayn رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ for their protection against all evil eyes and reptiles. So, it is an act of following Sunnah to make a dua for your family. It is also evidence that dua protects the family from evil eyes. Hadith 3371 of Sahih Al-Bukhari narrates this instance.
Translation - Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to seek Refuge with Allah for Al-Hasan and Al-Husain and says: "Your forefather (i.e., Abraham) used to seek Refuge with Allah for Ishmael and Isaac by reciting the following: 'O Allah! I seek Refuge with Your Perfect Words from every devil and from poisonous pests and from every evil, harmful, envious eye.'
