Located on River Rd, Selma, Masjid Noor-Ul-Mustafa is a small masjid that offers Muslims living in Raleigh a safe and comfortable place to offer their five daily prayers. The mosque was established and founded by Al Hajj, Dr. Mir Mumtaz Ali in Selma. The mosque is based on the Hanafi school of thought, with its current Imam being Dr. Muhammad Jalal Al Azhari, a Ph.D. holder in Islamic Studies. The Imam has received his Ph.D. from Cairo University in Egypt.
The mosque has a separate prayer hall for women where they can pray their prayers in privacy – away from the gaze of a non-mahram. A wadu facility is also available, so you can stop by the mosque even while travelling, do your wadu, and offer your prayers. Although small, the mosque also hosts Friday and Eid prayers in the congregation. Moreover, the mosque offers a welcoming environment for children. If possible, you can take your children along to the center, pray with them, and teach them more about their faith while simultaneously offering them a safe space to be around other Muslim children.

The Masjid King Khalid is a mosque of the Late King Khalid bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud, Inc. in Raleigh. The mosque is located within the grounds of Shaw University. The mosque was established with the help of a Muslim professor at Shaw University, with its funding provided by the Saudi royal family in the 1980s. The university has since served as a mosque for the Muslim students and faculty of the university.
