2. Lady Fatima Center

 

Initiated in 2011, Lady Fatima Center is a mosque and community center that accommodates the Shia Muslim community in the metro Denver area. The mosque welcomes everyone seeking spiritual and religious upliftment and follows the teachings of the Holy Quran, the Prophet Muhammad, and his family. Although Lady Fatima Center only hosts Jummah prayers, it organizes programs to educate and enlighten the Muslim community. These include youth groups, Quran/Hadith classes, and religious lectures.

 

Moreover, the Jafari Islamic School holds classes for children ages four and 16 every Sunday. Lady Fatima Center also offers many services to help the community. 3. Colorado Muslim Society

 

The Colorado Muslim Society (CMS) or Masjid Abu Bakr, was included and registered with the State of Colorado in 1964. It serves as the largest and most prominent non-profit, religious, cultural, non-political, social, educational, and humanitarian Muslim organization in the suburb of Aurora, just southeast of Denver. Sitting on two acres of land, Masjid Abu Bakr is Denver's only Islamic center that resembles a conventional mosque, featuring a large dome with an adjacent minaret.

 

The mosque also includes an outdoor play area. Masjid Abu Bakr is finalizing its multi-million-dollar expansion, which will double the area of its prayer facilities. The Downtown Denver Islamic Center, more commonly known as Masjid Al-Shuhada, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing a welcoming and secure space for the diverse and dynamic Muslim community of native Muslims and immigrants.
