Founded in 1972, the Muslim Community Association of Ann Arbor was established to promote, preserve, and practice Islam and its heritage to cater to the religious, social, cultural, and educational needs of the Muslims of Michigan. The center is also established with North American Islamic Trust as permanent Waqf for Ahl-u-Sunnah Wal Jama'ah.

Masjid At-Taqwa was incorporated in 2008 and is open for five daily prayers. However, Friday/Jummah congregational prayer is not being offered at this time because the parking lot is under construction (this information was valid at the time this guide was being written. Masjid At-Taqwa aims to promote the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah into the lifestyles of all believers. The mosque also aims to nurture and promote the Muslims of Ann Arbor with social, educational, and spiritual services. The mosque also offers Quran classes for all age groups. You can learn to read, write, recite, and memorize the Quran at Masjid At-Taqwa every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 am.

The Islamic Center of America aims to build a community with strong Islamic beliefs so they can have a rewarding life hereafter. The Masjid Bilal was established in Ypsilanti in April 2007 by converting a house into a mosque by the Muslim community of Michigan. The mosque offers the five daily prayers, Friday Jummah prayers, and Ramadan Taraweeh prayers. Moreover, the mosque also offers educational services to educate the Muslim youth so they can understand Islam and live their lives according to the Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet (SAWW). The mosque offers a hifz school and academic classes for Islamic education.
